The April ARCS Hobbycraft Pretty Plane contest winner is John 'Doc' Smith with his Tomboy Smith Version #1.  36" electric powered Oldtimer design; 2 channel (motor and rudder).  It is a Vic Smeed (British) design from the early 1950's.  SAM has recently started a special event based on this design, thus it's recent popularity. For his craftsmanship, Doc takes home a $50 gift card courtesy of our friends at Hobbycraft in the Anchorage Dimond Center.
