Thanks to Steve and Casey showing some interest, the PMA is planning on having you guys come down and help break in the new runway in Kenai.  I got it rolled out last hitch home so it is noce and smooth and the grass is coming in real nice.  The date is June 23rd and 24th and it is just a get together BBQ fly for fun and hang out for the weekend event.  I am sure that we can talk each other into a few "contests" to see who can do something stupid the lowest... and the rest will be history.

Bring your big planes, funflys, sunday flyers and have a good time.  If you want to come down earlier just let me know when you plan on being here and I will let you know how to get in the gate.

To get to the field, take a right at the "Y" in Soldotna and head to Kenai.  Go through all the stop lights in Kenai and keep heading north out of town.  Just as you leave Kenai, the road will make a turn to the right then go straight for a couple miles.  You will see alot of excavation where the new soccer fields are going in on the right hand side of the road.  Just past the end of the fields, you will see a large Spenards Builders Supply building.  Take a right there on homestead and follow it down for about a 1/4 mile.  On the right (it is the 3rd or 4th right) will be signs posted for the PMA field.  The picture attached will give you a better idea.
