-
The pilot’s
meeting will start at 9:30AM.
-
The
unknowns will be handed out at the pilots meeting.
-
The
contest will start directly after the pilots meeting (so try
to get there early enough to have your plane assembled and
ready before the meeting).
-
Entry fee is
$15 for non IMAC members; $10 for IMAC members; and FREE for
first time fliers in the basic class.
-
All classes
will fly two rounds consisting of two sequences each.
-
All classes
other than basic will fly one sequence of unknowns (basic class
will fly an additional sequence of the knowns).
-
There will be
one round of freestyle (consisting of a single 4-minute flight
routine) after the main IMAC contest is over (this round is open
to all pilots from the contest and is completely optional).
-
The
freestyle flying and judging rules/guidelines are in the
scale aerobatics document
(starts on page SCA-5, section 17).
-
We will
provide a CD player if you’d like to fly your freestyle to
music (recommended). Please provide your music in standard
CD format.
-
There will be
a cookout. If you’d like a ribeye steak, it will cost $7,
otherwise all the food is free to all.
-
There will be
a raffle after the contest for prizes.
The attached
document, “Competition
Regulations 2007 – 2008” has all the rules and guidelines
pertaining to IMAC (including the “SCALE AEROBATICS OFFICIAL FLYING
AND JUDGING GUIDE” that starts on page SCA-7).
